Project Background
- Location:Plurinational State of Bolivia (Bolivia)
- Client:Local specialty agricultural product processing enterprise (focusing on deep processing of tropical fruits)
- Core Equipment: stainless steel dehydrator include 6 trolley and 144 trays with dealing capacity 360kg/batch
- Material:Tropical fruits such as bananas, mangoes, papayas (sliced)
- Bolivia is rich in tropical fruit resources, but for a long time, due to the lack of efficient processing equipment, a large amount of fruit has been wasted due to rot during the harvest season as it cannot be processed in time. The client is committed to developing natural, additive-free dried fruit products to meet the demand of the domestic and international healthy snack market. After evaluating and comparing suppliers from multiple countries, the client ultimately chose our electrically heated oven solution for its high cost-performance ratio and precise temperature control.

Project Challenges
- Processing High-Sugar Content Materials:Fruits like bananas and mangoes have high sugar content. During the drying process, they are prone to caramelization, which can lead to surface burning or excessive browning, affecting the product's appearance.
- Nutrient Retention:How to maximize the retention of the fruits' natural vitamins and original flavor during the high-temperature drying process was a core concern for the client.
- Energy Consumption and Operating Costs:Due to the power infrastructure and electricity prices in some parts of Bolivia, the equipment must be energy-efficient.
- High-Altitude Adaptability:Parts of the Bolivian highlands are at significant altitudes (some client locations exceed 3,000 meters above sea level). The low atmospheric pressure lowers the boiling point of water, requiring readjustment of standard drying process parameters.
- Solution: Hot Air Circulation Oven
- In response to the above challenges, our technical team tailored an electrically heated hot air circulation oven specifically designed for drying high-sugar fruits. The specific configurations are as follows:
Project Results and Client Feedback
- Increased Production Capacity:Each batch processes up to 300 kilograms, and the drying cycle is shortened by 30% compared to traditional methods, effectively solving the problem of fruit backlog during the harvest season.
- Quality Leap:The dried mangoes and bananas have a natural color and a pleasant sweet-sour taste, retaining the original flavor of the fruit to the greatest extent. They have received unanimous praise in the local market and when exported to neighboring countries.
- Client Testimonial:
- "This electric oven made in China solved our big problem! Even at an altitude of over 3,000 meters, it operates stably with excellent drying results. It's easy to operate, and the energy consumption is within our acceptable range. Thank you for providing us with a professional solution suitable for drying fruit in the highlands."

Conclusion
- This fruit drying project in Bolivia is another successful application of our electric heating ovens in the South American highlands. It not only helped the client transform abundant local tropical fruit resources into high-value-added products but also once again proves the strong adaptability of our equipment under different climatic conditions and altitudes. We will continue to be dedicated to providing more professional and reliable food drying solutions to customers worldwide.
